“What is my material?”, I have often been asking myself. I often perceived my approach to design as perceived rather immaterial while it has always been so tangible and relevant to me. So, how to manifest the efforts of a design practice dealing with people and perspectives, interactions and interconnections? How to make it accessible for observers that have not been there (yet)?

How to go beyond design as a visually appealing discipline and pass on its invisible and noiseless qualities that happen when listening, meeting, observing, facilitating and co-creating? An attempt of immediate documentation can deviate the perception and vanish the moment. Sure, visualisations are powerful. And what about writing? I am writing.
